Skinshape

Skinshape grew out of a love for old music and the way it sounded and William taught himself guitar, bass and drums as he was growing up – still favouring analogue instruments and tape-touched production.

He was also a founding member of the band Palace (2014-2017) and has been running his own reggae record label called Horus Records since 2014. The 5-person live band will be playing Skinshape’s works, both new and old.

His music echoes 1960s and 70s soul, funk, dub, Afrobeat and bossa nova flows through the arrangements, yet the songwriting remains focused on clear hooks and understated storytelling.

His signature palette is flexible enough for headphones or a live stage, and his music connects with a global audience for its reflective lyrics, unhurried grooves.

The Skinshape show emphasises feel, groove and connection, turning understated songs into immersive experiences that encourage quiet focus, warm movement, and lasting memories. Enjoy his works, both old and new, and join us to soak up the full atmosphere of this remarkable musician. 🎸

Yuuf

Supporting Skinshape in our Theatre is Yuuf, who naturally blend their diverse music tastes from around the world to shape the sound of their dreamlike, sun-streaked rich and organic music. Expect to relax in a meditative state while listening to their records, but be prepared for a rush of pure energy and joy from their live shows. They are known for their captivating and dynamic performances that build from pure shimmering ambience to heavy driving grooves that keep you dancing into the sunset.

Yuuf is Anthony Boatright on bass, Hugo Cottu on guitar, Andrin Haag on handpan and percussion and Oliver Overgaard on drums. The four band members all originate from different countries (England, France, Switzerland, Denmark) and draw from their cultural backgrounds when composing in their current home, London.
