We are thrilled to announce that Lighthouse is one of the eight venues being visited by Max Cooper as part of his tour in 2026. Part music, part theatre, part art, this high-impact immersive experience is visual, electric and totally unmissable.
Customised to every venue, with every show a unique experience, Max works together with architecture and space to deliver his unique blend of scientific and human stories that move off the screen to wrap the audience in sculptures of light and sound.
Drawing on an extensive portfolio of conceptual album projects and a rich catalogue of genre spanning musical and visual content; this show tells the story of the foundations of our world, and our place in it, as a living feeling experience.
Supporting Max is Rob Clouth. As a multidisciplinary artist working across electronic music, computational audio and new media, Rob Clouth’s motivations include searching for raw emotion amongst intricate musical structures, developing experimental audio software, and rethinking the ways we interact with music and technology.
Since beginning his journey into electronic music in 2004, Rob built custom algorithms to maximise expression in every gesture, central to which is cheatboxing, an AI-driven technique that transforms his voice into any sound in real time, each movement instantly generating both sound and image. This work culminated in the premiere of his acclaimed A/V show at Sónar Festival, breaking free from the quantised grid that underpins most electronic music.
Alongside his music, Rob continues to develop Noise Canvas, a self-built spectral audio editor described as a kind of Photoshop for sound, and is currently working toward a new album exploring sounds and perceptions outside the human range of hearing.
