Hangover Hill and Lighthouse present three more highly rated acts as they have a rare opportunity to experience a larger stage in our monthly unsigned music night.

The Bomo Swing
The Bomo Swing comes bouncing out of Bournemouth, a seven piece band renowned for its high energy and unique blend of Balkan, Reggae, Cumbia and dance. All powered by sizzling Latin drums, jazz influenced bass lines and topped off with spirited gypsy violin. Their upbeat performance and passion will bring a smile to your face and have you dancing your worries away as you enjoy the fiesta with them. They perform a mixture of self-penned pieces and a few classic covers given their own unique twist. The Bomo Swing are committed to giving their all to create a night you will never forget.

Si Genaro is a singer/songwriter, guitarist and demon harmonica player who has appeared on BBC’s ‘The Voice’ twice (2014 and 2015). His ‘Chicken Train’ single went viral after his first Voice appearance and the nation cried along with Will.I.Am the second time around when he performed his peace song ‘When the last bird flies’ in front of ten million people. He did the Uk tour supporting David Essex in 2009 as a solo artist and has supported Jamelia, British Sea Power and The Wurzels. He has played many festivals both as a solo artist and in bands including Glastonbury and the Isle of Wight festival. He describes his influences as being anything from Radiohead to The Rolling Stones, Dub Reggae to Classical to Drum n Bass, Jeff Buckley to Ralph McTell. He has spent 2023/2024 writing and recording his new album, songs from which he will be entertaining you with during this performance.

Millie Watson is a singer songwriter from the south coast of England. With her silky voice and husky tones, she plays acoustic melodies, inspired by life’s colourful events, and emotional happenings. Daughter of Kentish festival traders, Millies roots are firmly planted in folky beginnings. Her songs aim to take the audience on a journey of thought-provoking emotions, from political foot stompers, to soul stirring ballads.
