Manager (The Beacon) 

Full time, £24,000 per annum, One year fixed term (Possiblity of extension)

We are looking for an experienced café Manager who will be responsible for the day to day management of The Beacon and to contribute to the continuing development of the retail operations of Lighthouse. You should have a proven track record in team management to ensure that the highest standards are maintained across the building in relation to service, safety and presentation.

This is a challenging and often fast paced role and will suit someone who can manage demanding service periods, in a small team environment.

An interest in the arts is an advantage, a flexible, positive attitude and a sense of humour is essential. If you can demonstrate success in a similar role, have the skills and ability and are ready for the next challenge in your career path we would like to hear from you.

Lighthouse is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our technical team to ensure a safe, responsive, accurate and efficient technical service for all events and activities promoted by Lighthouse, including the operation of sound and light desks for performances.

You will help promote and maintain high standards of care and attention to all incoming companies in all operation. You will participate in receiving, erecting, constructing, adjusting, repairing, maintaining, dismantling and seeing off the premises all productions, performances and events promoted by Lighthouse as required by the Technical Manager or his deputies.

Technician 

Casual £10 an hour 

We are seeking to recruit technicians with a variety of skills to ensure the highest standard of technical service, maintenance and operation and ensure a safe, accurate and efficient technical service for all events and activities promoted by Lighthouse.

A keen interest in digital streaming, cameras and projection would also be advantageous.
