For over 13 seasons, Tony Powell was a fan-favourite defender for AFC Bournemouth and Norwich City Football Club. Known as "tough as nails," he was voted Player of the Year in 1979 and inducted into the NCFC Hall of Fame. Shortly thereafter, he disappeared.

Forty-five years after vanishing from the public eye, the once-star footballer is discovered running a dilapidated motel in Hollywood. When the motel closes and Tony is evicted, he is forced to confront his past, the relationships he abandoned, and the secrets that shaped his life.
