Lighthouse Academy have teamed up with ArtfulScribe to bring Young Writers to Lighthouse. As a Young Writer, you will get the chance to attend workshops led by professional writers, attend Lighthouse performances, see your work published online, in print, and performed on a stage before a live audience.
Workshops run on Saturday mornings on a weekly basis during term times and offer a safe, supportive environment, encouraging young writers to share work and to give and receive feedback in a respectful way that empowers voices in the workshop community.
There are two workshops:
- 11-14-year-olds
- 15-18-year-olds.
These sessions are free but Lighthouse looks for a commitment on attendance. All workshops are suitable for beginners and advanced writers.
