Do you like creative writing? Are you aged 15-18?
Autumn Term 2026 Sat 26 Sep – Sat 12 Dec Lighthouse Academy have teamed up with ArtfulScribe to bring Young Writers to Lighthouse.
As a Young Writer, you will get the chance to attend workshops led by professional writers, attend Lighthouse performances, see your work published online, in print, and performed on a stage before a live audience. Workshops run on Saturday mornings on a weekly basis during term times and offer a safe, supportive environment, encouraging young writers to share work and to give and receive feedback in a respectful way that empowers voices in the workshop community.
There are three workshops: 7-10-years-old 09:30-10:30 11-14-year-old 11:00-12:30 15-18-year-old 13:00-14:30.
The course is Pay What You Can with the option to book £0/£30/£60 per term which includes a total of 10 sessions.
The course is free to access but we ask for donations to help support the development of creative writing courses across our community. Lighthouse looks for a commitment on attendance.
