Wioletta Bojaryn – Exhibition

Tue 3 – Mon 30 Oct 2023

Now open in the 2nd Floor Foyer

I have been painting since I was seven years old. At the beginning I was more focused on drawing and the taste for painting developed over the years. I have already held several exhibitions, individual and group ones, both in national and private galleries. My father lived and worked in Calcutta, hence I had an opportunity to fall in love with the customs of this country. No wonder that one of my most important experiences was a journey to India and Nepal. I was taken aback by the colors, contrasts and the whole culture.

Some time later I took part in workshops organised by wonderful people from the foundation, Art of Living and I have been practicing meditation for many years. This is where I find the inner tranquility needed to paint within our fast paced reality. Photography is my other passion and undoubtedly a source of inspiration. As far as painting is concerned I am an enthusiast of big oil based canvas as the size enables me to add unexpected images that emerge during the painting process. I am a visualiser so choosing the colors intuitively is a big adventure and pleasure for me. Currently I live and work in Bournemouth and derive inspiration from settings and people I come across every day.
