Other classics include, Storm In A Teacup, You’ve Got Your Troubles, Freedom Come Freedom Go. The Fortunes still continue to tour the world today.

MIKE D’ABO was the only one man who could fill Paul Jones’ shoes as front man for Manfred Mann.  Already attracting attention with his group, A Band Of Angels, Mike was thrust into a wider limelight with the Manfreds and the well-oiled hit machine kept rolling on.  Just Like A Woman, Semi-Detached Suburban Mr James and Mighty Quinn were just three of the string of hits with the ‘new boy’ in the line-up.  Like his predecessor, Mike’s career after the disbanding of the Manfreds in 1969 lost none of its momentum.  He’d already proved his impressive skill as a songwriter by composing Build Me Up Buttercup for The Foundations and Handbags & Gladrags, a massive hit for Chris Farlowe.

STEVE ELLIS – In 1967 Love Affair moved to CBS records and Steve’s life was about to change forever.  With the move brought the band to the forefront of the UK music scene with their first single the evergreen No: 1 hit Everlasting Love. At the time of it’s release Steve was only 17 years old.  This was quickly followed by a succession of equally popular hits Rainbow Valley, Bringing On Back The Good Times, A Day Without Love.

VANITY FARE – Formed in 1966, are a British pop/rock group famously known for such hits as, I Live ForThe Sun, Early InThe Morning and the worldwide classic, Hitchin A Ride which scored the band a number one on the Billboard 100 in the USA.  The harmonies of Vanity Fare a renowned throughout the sixties scene which makes them one of the best vocal groups still touring today.
