The Art of Belonging: What makes you who you are?

October holiday creative workshops for 7-14 year olds.

Ready to get creative this half term? Join us for two fun-packed days of writing and performing workshops led by ethnically diverse professional writers, performers and musicians.

Together we’ll explore the stories, places and things that make you feel you belong. No previous experience needed, just a willingness to have a go!

What’s in store?
· Dance with amazing choreographers including Vrushali Harihar
· Create and perform your own rap with Isaiah Dreads
· Design and build a paper theatre and puppets with Mahtab Grimshaw
· Write your own poem with Louisa Adjoa Parker

Booking Details:

·Purchase of a ticket gives access to both Thursday 30th and Friday 31st October workshops
·Workshops run from 10am – 3.30pm (with optional extension sessions 9am-4pm)
·Please bring a packed lunch
·Workshops are suitable for ages 7 to 14. Participants will be grouped by age.
·Bursary places are available, subsidised by Talbot Village Trust.
