The legendary American tenor saxophonist returns with his all-star British band. Scott cut his teeth with the Benny Goodman band, got signed to the Concord jazz label and collaborated with Woody Herman, Tony Bennett, Warren Vache and George Wein’s Newport Jazz Festival All stars. He is the modern embodiment of mainstream jazz with clear elements of the modern jazz of Dexter Gordon and Stan Getz. He’s enormously popular on both sides of the Atlantic, has made and appeared on over a hundred albums and was named International Jazz Saxophonist of the Year in the 2007 inaugural Ronnie Scott Jazz awards.
