Lighthouse’s Pipeline helps to develop new work with a variety of events for writers and a general audience.
With Pipeline Remix, writers take on the challenge of reimaging a favourite scene from a play. And Pipeline Classic is semi-staged performances looking for further development.
Whether it’s a Remix, Classic or a Masterclass event, every evening puts the development of new work centre stage, so whether you’re a writer, producer, or just curious about writing for performance, come and enjoy!
Pipeline features three scripts:
Beautiful Ones by Ed Viney takes us back to May 1993 and one of Poole’s greatest gigs – Suede!
Ooser by Ross Cleaver delves into the making of one of Dorset’s greatest legends
And Ricky Tart presents a first for Pipeline, an extract from his new musical – Just A Thought – which moves between tragedy, comedy, violence and regret.
The evening starts at 8pm (lasts approx 65mins) then join us informally in the bar for a chat and catch-up about all things. Remember you can always submit your work or put yourself forward as a writer for any of the Pipeline events (Rapid Response / Remix)
