Dance chance to make dreams come true

Back

Lighthouse is beginning to cast its spell on Poole by announcing open auditions for aspiring actors and dancers to join the ensemble cast of its latest in-house produced pantomime, Sleeping Beauty this Christmas.

It’s an opportunity that’s definitely not to be slept on, offering a rare chance to gain valuable experience working with the professional cast for the entire run – and for the first time, the ensemble cast will be paid.

“We are looking for hard working, dedicated young dancers, who are also keen on acting and singing, to join the ensemble in our magical family pantomime, Sleeping Beauty,” says Head of Programming Tim Colegate.

Sleeping Beauty is a Lighthouse production from the same team that successfully delivered Aladdin, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast in recent years. Written and directed by CBeebies star Chris Jarvis, production design is by James Smith with choreography by Daniel Donaldson Todd and musical direction by Adam Tuffrey.
