These opportunities are mostly connected to our programme through the shows, concerts and cinema screenings we present. Shakespeare, art exhibitions, concerts, dance and drama performances all feature in the Lighthouse artistic programme and many of these links directly with the National Curriculum and GCSEs/A Levels.

Opportunities for schools to get involved include:

  • Backstage Tours
  • Residencies, Masterclasses and Workshops
  • Work Experience & Internships

If you would like more information about how your school can get involved, email us

Beauty Isn't Skin Deep - Panto Schools Project

A project open to all schools (4-11 years).

We want to inspire young people to explore their own self-image and all the wonderful parts of themselves that makeup who they are. We also need some help decorating our building in the run-up to our pantomime! Can you help us?

We are looking for self-portraits that explore how young people see themselves and how they are perceived by the world around them. These will decorate our Top Floor Gallery and be a wonderful celebration of all the young people who make up our local community.

Entries will be displayed in Lighthouse’s Top Floor Gallery through the run of Beauty & the Beast (9th December – 31st December).

To enter, sign up using this form and we will send you a project brief and some more information to inspire you and your class.
