Revision on Tour

Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde

Fri 12 Feb 2027

Calling all English GCSE students, teachers and lovers of classic literature!
Dickens Theatre Company’s acclaimed stage adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s gothic thriller is coming to Lighthouse.

London, 1888. A thick Fitzrovia fog cloaks the city. In the shadows, a sinister figure stalks the streets. A young child is brutally attacked. Who is this “sneering Satan” and will he strike again?

Performed by an ensemble cast of just six actors, this fast-paced production brings Stevenson’s dark and dangerous Victorian world vividly to life through inventive storytelling, atmospheric staging and dynamic multi-rolling performance.

Part of DTC’s highly acclaimed Revision on Tour programme these shows are specifically designed to support GCSE English study while remaining captivating for all audiences.

All matinee performances also include the option to stay for a free 20-minute post-show Q&A with the cast and director, a hugely popular addition for school groups, giving students the chance to ask questions, deepen their understanding of the text and explore the production further.
