Matt is one of the best musicians, composers and bandleaders on the British jazz scene. He’s played with a multitude of big names on both sides of the Atlantic, but his main interest has always been to create and develop a band rooted in the traditions of the small postbop bands of the 1950 and 1960s. The band features brilliant soloists, but it swings as a unit.
