Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance showcases the up and coming musical talent of the next generation.

Hannah and Viola began playing together in 2022, with their debut performance being at the Tunbridge Wells International Music Competition in April 2022. The duo have many more recitals planned over 2022-23.

Born in Italy in 1994, Viola Lenzi started her musical training at the age of five and at the age of eleven she started studying piano at the Pietro Mascagni Conservatoire in Livorno, where she completed her bachelor’s degree with first-class honours under the guidance of Monica Cecchi and a master’s degree in piano performance with Maurizio Baglini. Under the Erasmus+ scheme, Viola came to London in 2018 to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where, thanks to the Beverley Creed Scholarship, she completed her Postgraduate Advanced Diploma with Distinction under the guidance of Sergio De Simone and Martino Tirimo. She has participated in many masterclasses and courses given by prestigious pianists such as Micha Dacic, Daniel Rivera, Sergio De Simone, Jeffrey Swann, Pascal Rogé, Martino Tirimo, Megumi Masaki, Stephan Loges and Dr Emily Kilpatrick and since 2012, has performed as a soloist and a chamber musician for various concert series and public events in Italy, France and the United Kingdom. She is a passionate collaborative pianist and specialises in working with singers both in the chamber music and operatic repertoire as well as with a small Greenwich based opera company as their répétiteur.


Originally from Somerset, Hannah Shilvock is a clarinet/bass clarinet specialist, woodwind doubler and arranger based in London. She is a BG France, RATstands and DEBUT Classical Horizon Artist. Hannah is a pioneer of the bass clarinet, and has recently published her arrangement of Debussy’s Cello Sonata arr. for bass clarinet and piano, with Alea Publishing. She has recently completed a Masters in Bass Clarinet Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with Distinction in 2020, where she was a scholar for the two years; and achieved a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Music from the University of Southampton in 2018. Hannah is an active bass clarinet soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player, and is also available as a woodwind doubler - clarinets (Bb, Eb, bass), flute/piccolo and saxes. Hannah is currently a member of ‘New Woods Collective’, a trio of bass clarinet, flute and piano specialising in contemporary repertoire; and a member of Hacha Duo, bass clarinet and cor anglais.
