Overview

Enjoy three more highly rated acts as they have a rare opportunity to experience a larger stage as our monthly unsigned music night returns.

This month we have...

DD Allen

With a passion for 80s influences that runs deep in his veins, English singer-songwriter DD Allen embraces a single-minded vision to create meaningful songs that stay relevant to the world we live in.
Dancing on the edge of the mainstream, the genre-bending protagonist delivers an anthemic sound that sweeps through The Killers arena indieness, the niche defying synthesis of The War On Drugs, and the melodic harmony of Ryan Adams.
And with a lyrical prowess that sits at the heart of his creations, DD Allen makes music for thinkers.
His rousing live performances are responsible for sold-out shows, main-stage festival appearances, and European tour support for Vintage Trouble.
In his 2021 single ‘Paper Masks’, Allen cut to the core of events that impacted society so deeply throughout the global pandemic. The emotive story triggered global radio airplay and media coverage, cementing the songwriter’s reputation as an artist on the rise.
After selling out his last show at the Lighthouse in advance, DD Allen returns to perform with his full band in February 2022
