Overview
Jazz Co. was formed in 1996 (under the name The Jazz Dance Company) by London Studio Centre, one of Britain’s foremost conservatoires for the performing arts. The touring company was created to provide its dancers with performing experience and the opportunity to work with established choreographers within the industry. Graduates can be seen performing on the West End and in leading dance companies, as well as gaining widespread successful in the commercial dance sector and as choreographers and directors.
The company present work by leading choreographers from today’s dance and theatre scene led by Artistic Director Robbie O’Reilly. The show offers audiences the chance to see the hottest new talent in jazz dance, in a vibrant programme of works, ranging from the sensuality and lyricism of contemporary jazz to modern street dance and the rhythmic complexities of tap.
