Overview

“More men have walked on the moon than women have completed the Vendée Globe, which is all the inspiration I need to succeed."

In November 2020, Pip Hare set off from Les Sables-d'Olonne to take part in the Vendée Globe, a single-handed non-stop round the world yacht race known as the 'Everest of the Seas'. After sailing 24,000 miles and being alone at sea for over three months, Pip became the 9th woman in history to ever have completed this event, join her as she shares first hand the highs and lows of this incredible journey.
