Music The Sherling Studio

Brought to you by Hangover Hill Recording Studio and Lighthouse, Live And Unheard is designed to give talented, original artists a different platform on which to showcase their own material. Over the coming months you will see a variety of genres, hear some incredible songwriters and enjoy musical performances where artists can really be themselves.

This month we have…

Lee Ainley’s Blues Storm - A rising force in soulful rock blues

The unique vocals of Lee Ainley & Tori Mai showcase tight harmonies, add lead guitarist Elliot Young, David Atkin on drums and Nat Ainley on bass and you have the sum of two vibrant young talents and three mellow experienced veterans making this band able to write and produce music that looks to the future, as well as back in time.

From their humble late-2016 debut, Moonbeams have evolved into an expansive 9-piece collective, incl flute, viola, acoustic & electric guitars, Hammond, & two backing vocalists. At it's heart, sits the lava lamp mind of songwriter Conrad Barr, influenced by Kevin Ayers' baroque pop & Jefferson Airplane's folk-psychedelia.

Ethereal and the Elevated

Ethereal rose like a phoenix in 2016 from the ashes of Yui Karlberg Music and The Subwave Network UK. Joining forces with David 'Deej' Jones (drums) and Steve Cable (bass) they began an experimental journey of funk, soul, pop, indie, rock and jazz, keep your eyes peeled for this band.
