Overview

The Coastal Comedy Christmas Show with TV headliner Stephen Bailey.

Star of Live at the Comedy Store

Host of Celebrities on the Farm (C5) and many many more.

Stephen Bailey is a comedian, presenter, television personality and writer, whose friendly and open brand of gossipy humour has made him one of the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming acts in comedy at the moment.

He is the host of Celebs on the Farm (Channel 5) & Celebs On The Ranch (5Star) and was the resident Agony Uncle on theZoe Ball show. Stephen has also been on Coronation Street (ITV), The Apprentice: You're Fired (BBC Two), Roast Battle on Comedy Central to name a few and we can’t wait to welcome him to the Lighthouse.

"He's an arch-bitch with a winning smile, everyone's favourite gay best friend. Bailey's confident, funny & suitably rude" - The Reviews Hub

"Comedy Genius" - Fringe Guru

"When it comes to being funny, he's just got it" – Scotsgay

Opening the show is the incredibly talented Ria Lina who’s charm and intelligence allow her to get away with anything from the most audacious routines to subtle wordplay.

Ria is Winner of Best Comedy Show at the Greater Manchester Fringe and Nominated for the Amused Moose Laughter Awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and we are excited to bring her to the Lighthouse

“I have no doubt she will hold her own so easily that she’ll have a hand free to hold someone else’s too.” The Guardian

“Fearless, provocative and very funny” The Scotsman

“Engaging, endearing and eye-opening” Time Out

Also supporting Stephen is Sam Russell, an exciting newer act already making his mark on the comedy circuit. Warm and likeable, his optimistic, upbeat brand of comedy focuses on the hilarity of life’s weirder moments and the challenges of it’s everyday mundanities, to which we can all relate.

Don’t miss this top night out with some of the best acts on the circuit. The night is hosted by local comic Adrienne Coles and sponsored by Tuners – see you there!
