Those who have been touched by death are the focus of a powerful exhibition by world-renowned photographer Rankin in collaboration with Forest Holme Hospice Charity in Poole.
In Alive: In The Face of Death, Rankin sets out to explore and challenge our perceptions of death. Through his lens, the stories of those touched by death are revealed. They include people living with a terminal illness, those who have faced death and survived, and those who work within the death industry.
Rather than focusing on death itself, the exhibition is a celebration of life and diversity of character with each work exploring the vitality and importance of life for each person. Visitors will also be able to read the inspirational accounts of the people in each image.
