Charlie Baker’s versatile talent as a stand-up comedian, actor, and highly acclaimed jazz-singer has seen him earn a reputation as ‘a superior take on the modern showman’ (The Guardian).  He has appeared in numerous TV shows and avid sports fan Charlie has been heard on BBC5 Live’s Fighting Talk and covering on talksport’s. He also has a cult podcast The National Obsession.

As a talented actor he has starred in Eastenders (BBC1), Doctor Who, The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas as well as the hit West End musical I Can’t Sing where he played the hunchback with “a hilarious rap number” (The Telegraph). Charlie is currently working on a brand new family show for Edinburgh ‘The Greatest Goat Of All Time’ as well as working on a new stand up tour. As ever Charlie is multi-tasking!

Supporting Charlie is Jake Lambert who fell into a career as a stand up, after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym  @LittleLostLad  he decided to put down his iPhone and pick up a microphone.

Jake has gone on to support Seann Walsh, Kerry Godliman, Tom Allen and Rob Beckett on their UK tours as well as writing on Mock The Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Now Show, News Quiz and many more.

In 2018 he made his TV debut performing on Comedy Central’s Live From The Comedy Store and we look forward to welcoming him to the Lighthouse for this special festive show!

Plus support from Dan Fardell who Romesh Ranganathan described as: “One of the best new joke writers I've seen in ages.  He has so many lines that make me think 'I wish I'd thought of that'

Also Graeme Collard who was finalist for Fosters South Coast Comedian of the year.

Don’t miss this top night out with some of the best comics on the circuit hosted by local comic Adrienne Coles – see you there!
