Theatre Pavilion Dance Terrace

Overview

Tickets available on the door at Pavilion Dance South West.

Following a sold out performance at Lighthouse in January, Doppelganger Productions are once again bringing their play RIDE! to the audiences of Poole.

Based on a true story, Foster’s play is about racism and highlights the 1998 incident in which the African-American James Bird Jr was taken by three members of the Ku Klux Klan and murdered.

Directed by Charmaine K Parkin, Foster draws on the racist messages communicated before the Brexit campaign and draws parallels with the political rhetoric communicated in Texas at that time and currently by Donald Trump.
