Theatre The Sherling Studio

Overview

Liz has got an embarrassing problem, and these yogurts aren’t helping: her body’s acting up. Touring after acclaimed performances across the UK, Gutted is Liz Richardson’s story as she tells it, living as a twenty-something with an inflammatory bowel disease.

Packed with colourful characters met along the way, Liz invites you to join her on this journey of love, laughter and loos. Co-created by Tara Robinson and described by audience members as tight, witty and compelling, Gutted is a frank and funny exploration of our relationship to care, our bodies and shame.

Supported by IA, Arts Council England, HOME and The Wellcome Trust.

Some material may be unsuitable for children under 14
