Light Entertainment

The Lighthouse Young Programmers will be taking over the building on 1 April to bring you their very own microfestival, Level Up, in which gaming through the ages and live music sets the stage for imaginations to run wild

Created around the theme of 'What did you want to be when you grew up', visitors to the event will be able to play through the generations with Cyber Jam’s collection of games, ranging from retro consoles to VR, while the Sherling Studio will host exciting new live music showcases. Artist Kevin Scully will be creating a live mural in the foyer and there will be a screening of the classic Tom Hanks movie Big in the cinema.

Level Up is open between 2pm and 7pm, with the option to attend just the festival or the festival and the film screening of Big.

Schedule of events:

2pm-4pm Screening of Big - Cinema
2pm-7pm Visual artist/DJ/Gaming - Ground Floor Foyer (Sherling Studio/Cinema end)
2pm-7pm Live music/Gaming - Sherling Studio
7pm Festival ends
