Director: Andy Serkis. Starring: Andrew Garfield, Claire Foy,
Hugh Bonneville, Tom Hollander. UK 2017. 117 mins.

Handsome, adventurous and brilliant, army-captainturned-tea-merchant Robin Cavendish (Garfield) has everything to look forward to when he meets and marries the beautiful Diana Blacker (Foy). But at the age of 28 he is struck down by polio, which confines him to a hospital bed and leaves him reliant on a machine for every breath. With the help of Diana’s twin brothers (Hollander) and the groundbreaking ideas of inventor Teddy Hall (Bonneville), Robin and Diana dare to escape the hospital ward to seek out a full and passionate life together – raising their young son, travelling and devoting their lives to helping other polio patients. Andy Serkis’s directorial debut is an inspirational true story of love without limits and a heartwarming celebration of hope, courage and human possibility.

Contains infrequent bloody images.

A short film will be played before the main feature.
