Visual Arts Terrace Cafe Art Space

Maxine Walter returns to Lighthouse with her latest exhibition.

Maxine Walter is a Digital Artist whose work transforms the visible world, experimenting with form and colour to create vibrant images.

Her style has evolved in response to the complexities and frenetic pace of modern life by taking the everyday and exploring the abstract that is seen within; a process that moves the viewer from the accustomed world into an alternative space that allows imagination to take over.

Maxine uses photographs that she has taken as inspiration for her abstract pieces. Working with carefully selected colour palettes the everyday is manipulated to create something unidentifiable from its origin, creating an abstract artwork that allows for individual interpretation.

Free entry during normal building opening hours.
