Lighthouse, Poole’s centre for the arts, is pleased to announce a new three-year partnership with Independent energy comparison company The Energy Check.
The deal will see The Energy Check work with Lighthouse on a thorough audit to ensure the venue lives up to its ambition to maximise its energy efficiency.
“As a venue we are constantly looking to secure a sustainable future by reducing running costs," says Fundraising Manager Tom Shallaker. “Obviously the virus emergency takes precedence, but Lighthouse can only applaud the optimism and forward thinking of The Energy Check in negotiating this important new partnership.”
The Energy Check specialises in supporting partners in the sport and leisure sector, as well as other corporate and domestic customers. Last year it saved its partners more than £1.6 million on the cost of their utilities and through its sponsorship programme made a significant contribution to their financial wellbeing.

The partnership heralds the launch of Lighthouse Business Club, a new initiative for the autumn that will see the venue host three business networking events a year for corporate partners that have an interest in the arts and the part they play in the life of the local community.
