Arts Catalyst and Lighthouse present Test Sites Workshop: Alternative School of Economics.

Test Sites is Arts Catalyst’s ambitious nationwide three-year investigation into complex matters of concern connected with environmental change – such as flooding, pollution and species loss – and their impact on local culture, wellbeing and ecology.

Supported by Bournemouth University, the workshop is part of an ongoing participatory research on the area of Poole Harbour that through seminars, roundtables, tours and meetings aims at bring together a multiplicity of voices and situated knowledges involving communities, academics, active citizens and people with a strong interest and practice in culture and ecology.

Lighthouse will play a key role in the process; by bringing together Bournemouth University’s scientists and academics and cultural producers, artists and curators affiliated with Lighthouse the workshop will facilitate connections between two crucial fields of knowledge in the region.
