Poole Museum presents Men of Iron - Dementia-Friendly Tours
These relaxed and interactive sessions are for those living with dementia and their carers.
Hosted by Anna Sheils, these small group sessions offer opportunity to view and discuss Poole Museum’s latest exhibition ‘Men of Iron’, taking place at Lighthouse, Poole.
The exhibition honours the faces, stories and craftsmanship of Poole’s Foundry workers, 40 years on from its closure through photography and artefacts.
The sessions will include a 45-minute tour of the exhibition with opportunity to engage with the photographs and in conversation. Refreshments in the Lighthouse Café will follow, with a hot drink and slice of cake included within the ticket price.
