Bright Sparks is our Creative Education programme for children and young people, both in and out of Formal Education. We work young people aged 5 – 25 years within and outside of schools, colleges and universities.

Designed to enable young people to engage with the arts, Bright Sparks supports formal and informal learning connected to our artistic programme. The aim is to nurture, empower and enable young people to develop an appreciation of the arts, to ensure that the arts in Dorset continue to flourish.

Practising an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.
