Why give to lighthouse?
For over 30 years, Lighthouse has worked with more than 15,000 young people, supported hundreds of community groups and projects, and run courses, classes and workshops to enable people of all ages to enjoy and learn from the arts. Our iconic building serves Poole Borough and the wider region, offering expertise, year-round facilities and the broadest arts programme to all sectors of the community.
Why your support matters
Lighthouse is a charity because we enrich cultural life and offer educational benefit. We are non-profit making so income is reinvested in our artistic programme. Our unique position in the region is reliant upon securing the support of individuals and businesses who care as much about the arts as we do. Balancing public funding, earned income from ticket sales and private donations will ensure our ambition and our future. If everyone who visited Lighthouse gave just £1 we would raise an additional £200,000 a year - plus Gift Aid on top
Catalyst Arts
Lighthouse was one of 173 organisations awarded funding from the Arts Council England’s ‘CATALYST ARTS: capacity building and match funding’ scheme. The aim of the scheme is to help the arts sector attract new money from private sources, now and in the longer term, to be invested in additional artistic activity.
For a limited period every £1 you donate we can claim an extra £1 from Catalyst Arts. Money can be matched against cash gifts from
