Hazel Evans, our resident visual artist, begins her work here by visually documenting her journey within Lighthouse as a means to connect with her own art practice.

Drawing from her experiences of the theatrical and musical life within Lighthouse, Hazel will be creating works of art in different spaces of the building as well as providing the opportunity to watch her live as she creates her work in a variety of mediums.

Inspired by the realms of stories and make-believe mingled with a twist of Victorian, and topped with a dusting from the land of Oz, Hazel explores the magic of fantasy as she interprets her experiences here into a collection of works that will be developed over the coming months.
