For The Record is a play about contrasting melodies, conflicting memories and our instinct to create a soundtrack for our lives. A witty and tender examination of relationships defined by music... and what happens when the needle gets stuck in the groove….
For the Record is written by Joyce Branagh, a freelance writer and Theatre Director. Her plays include: Sheepish (Manchester 24:7 Theatre Festival 2010), The Tale of the Anklet, (Bristol Old Vic), Nun’s Aloud (Rising Sun, Reading) and an adaptation of Stanley Houghton’s Hindle Wakes.
