Bill Kenwright presents Alan Ayckbourn's
Bedroom Farce
Direct from the West End starring Juliet Mills & Maxwell Caulfield
20 - 25 September 2010
Deliciously hilarious and critically acclaimed, Peter Hall’s production of Bedroom Farce embarks on a National Tour following its smash hit run in the West End.
Emmy award-winning actress Juliet Mills leads an all-star cast; her prolific career includes 'Wild at Heart', 'Oh! What a Lovely War', 'The Elephant Man' and Billy Wilder’s 'Avanti!' which saw her nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress.
Joining her is Hollywood husband Maxwell Caulfield best known for his starring roles in 'Dynasty', 'The Colbys', 'Grease 2' and most recently 'Emmerdale', in which he played smooth-talking millionaire Mark Wylde whose dramatic demise sparked one of the biggest storylines of last year.
The glittering cast also features Bruce Montague, renowned TV and theatre actor whose credits include Leonard in Carla Lane’s 'Butterflies', 'Keeping Up Appearance's, 'Doctor', 'Oliver' at the London Palladium and 'Phantom of the Opera' at Her Majesty’s Theatre; Clare Wilkie, soap regular who played Sandra Di Marco in 'Eastenders', Oliver Boot, a prolific theatre actor whose TV credits include 'Holby City', 'Two Pints Of Lager And a Packet Of Crisps' and 'Hotel Babylon' and Julia Mallam and Ayden Callaghan who are best known for their roles as Dawn Woods and Miles De Souza respectively in ITV’s 'Emmerdale'.
Four couples, three bedrooms, two celebrations, one blazing row and an illicit kiss (or two!) Alan Ayckbourn’s ingenious comedy shines a brilliant spotlight onto the trials and tribulations of suburban marriage.
Trevor and Susannah have a dramatically dysfunctional relationship which like a comical whirlwind sweeps up everyone in its path, sparking a host of other relationship debacles with poignant and riotous results all across one fraught, incident-fuelled night.
