Following on from the commercial success of its 2008 precursor, Space Chimps 2 is an out-of-this-world animated family comedy that sees the galactic adventure enter the realm of 3D. Zack Shada (The Ant Bully) once again voices a young techno chimp named Comet, whose dream is to graduate from the rank of cadet to become a fully-fledged Space Chimp.
When alien overlord Zartog threatens to take over Mission Control, it’s up to Comet and his simian comrades to stand up and defend their celestial command centre. With a vocal cast that includes Stanley Tucci, Andy Samberg and Cheryl Hines, producer John H Williams’ (Shrek)) directorial debut is set to be one of the year’s surprise audience pleasers.
